How long will it take to receive my results and certification?

Results are released 48 hours after the completed test is received from the lab. Our team works 7 days a week and will send the certificate and results via email as soon as they are received by the lab. We would recommend ordering your test as soon as possible, so it is returned to and processed by the lab with sufficient time to receive the certificate via email before your trip.

When should I order and do my test for my trip?

Please check directly with your airline for the correct timeframe. Once the airline has confirmed this, the test needs to be returned to the lab at the earliest date that can be stated on the results. The results come back in PDF format, and results take up to 48 hours to be released. Results will be sent to you via email.

What are the delivery options for the test?

What happens if my results are not received within the 48 hours?

Our laboratory assures us that you will receive your results within 48 hours. If you have not received your results close to that time, then we encourage you to email our team on covidtesting@ohprime.co.uk. Please ensure you leave enough time from when you post your results to when you contact us.

Is the test UKAS accredited?

Yes, our results are UKAS verified and are accepted all over the globe

How should I return my sample?

You have two options.

The first one is to post it to the lab. We have included a pre-paid return envelope to send the test back to our diagnostic partner.

If returning your sample by post, please make sure the postal tracking label has been affixed to the front of the return envelope and that you have taken note of your postal tracking number.

Please note that your sample can only be posted in a Royal Mail priority post box in the UK.

Please do not use any other Royal Mail post box as your sample may not reach the laboratory in time to process.

If you are worried that the sample may not get there on time, you have the option to use SPECIAL DELIVERY. It guarantees that the sample will reach its destination within 24 hours. The costs for this type of postage are not included in the price but it is only £6.95 extra.

The second option is for you to deliver the sample to the lab yourself on the day that you do it. Please contact us to get more information about this.

How would I receive the test?

We would mostly use Royal Mail 24 hour tracked delivery to send kits to you and for sending kits to the laboratory.

We have an account with DHL and UPS and are happy to make alternative arrangements for you if you would require. Please contact us to discuss this.

What information will be on the results and certificate?

Results are sent via email as PDF. These will include the patient name, date of test, DOB and results from the test taken.

For an additional £40, we can provide a COVID Fit to Travel Certificate signed by our medical team.

This certificate is currently FREE with Option A3 and Option A5 and is subject to change without notice. Please refer to our Order page.

Under new government guidelines, you must now provide 2 coronavirus tests upon arrival to the UK, both in which will need to be booked prior to travelling. You must book a test on Day 2 and Day 8, the arrival day in the UK is classed as Day 0.
